Un crocodil sedea si plangea pe malul unei ape cu lacrimi de crocodil.Se prefacea ca a mancat un explorator cu tot cu pusca si ranita cu tot.Il vazu-se o caproara si auzind poveste lui credea ca il racaie pusca pe gatlej.Caprioara icerca sa il mangaie si i-a spus ca vor merge impreuna sa manance iarba si ii va arata ea care e dulce,amara sau acrisoare.Merse sa manance iarba si crocodilul o intreba pe caprioara daca cea de langa el este dulce.Caprioara se apleca sa vada dar crocodilul a facut o gura gat o sura si a mancat-o pe caprioara .Dupa cea intamplata crocodilul rase de biata caproara.Un papagal care vazu-se totul striga in gura mare ca nimeni sa nu mai creada in lacrimile unui crocodil.
