I always enjoyed watching birds fly away
I wanted one of my own
But never had it my way (Nu mi s-a facut pe plac)
Then I received one as a gift and was blown (m-a dat pe spate)
A parrot with beautifully coloured feathers
Oh, my, it goes with all weathers (se potriveste cu orice vreme)
Then I taught it how to talk
And it suddenly turned into a hawk!
Every morning, every hour
Oh my, a word shower
But I'm glad I have my little friend
It's the most heart warming blend
Between a nice pet
And so a I decided to be a vet.
I'm really glad we met.
