De exemplu :
The students are taught by the professor .( Studentii sunt învățați de către profesor)
The students - subject receiving action
are taught - passive verb
by the professor - doing action (acțiunea făcută)
Forma activă :
[Thing doing action] + [verb] + [thing receiving action]
De exemplu :
The profesor teaches the students . (Profesorul învață elevii)
The profesor - thing doing action (Lucrul care face acțiunea)
Teaches - verb
The students - thing receiving action (primește acțiunea)
