EXAMPLE:

If he hadn't dug up his garden, he wouldn't have found a treasure.

Rezolvarea exercițiului:

2) He reported his discovery to the police. He didn't get to keep the treasure.

If he hadn't reported his discovery to the police, he wouldn't have got to keep the treasure.

3) Mark did badly at school. Now he has to have private lessons.

If Mark hadn't done badly at school, he wouldn't have had to have private lessons.

4) Chris didn't go to the museum with his school because he was ill. Now he doesn't have the information he needs for his project.
