Rezolvare:

1. She lives in Los Angeles, so she is used to driving everywhere .

2. I used to keep my CD's in order, but I don't now.

3. It's her first job and she's finding it hard to get used to wearing smart clothes every day.

4. Was he used to keeping a diary when he was in Nepal?

5. He didn't use to like opera, but he does now.

6.  I didn't get your message because I'm afraid I am not used to checking my e-mail.

  • „Used to” + infinitive se folosește pentru a vorbi despre o acțiune obișnuită în trecut și care nu mai este adevărată sau reală: She used to read more when she was in highschool.

  • Structurile „be used to” și „get used to” + substantiv, pronume sau verb la gerunziu se pot folosi pentru a vorbi despre o acțiune trecută, prezentă sau viitoare: Sam does not get used to working for so many hours.
