This text talks about British teenagers wrong way of looking at life. A study that was made to compare British teenagers with nine other country`s teenagers,concluded that these kids are very materialistic,they are taking their allowance for granted, and they never even think about helping the society with voluntary works such as charity. British teenagers think that electrical goods in their bedroom is a necessity,not a luxury.
The study revealed that materialism has a devastating effect on the attitudes of British teenagers. For them is more important the looks,to wear the right clothes, to have the latest things,than showing empathy, helping someone,or doing good deeds.
Therefor some schools that recognized these behavioral problems,are trying to find ways to rewarding students for responsible behavior.
