Dad: Hi, Ellie! Where have you been?  

Ellie: I was to the cinema with Katie and I've  just got back.

Dad: So, what film did you see?  

Ellie: We saw the new Will Smith film. Have you seen it?  

Dad: No, I haven't. But I've heard a lot about it. Anyway, did you both enjoy it?  

Ellie: Well, Katie didn't like it but I thought it was great. Where's Mum?  

Dad: She has already gone to bed. She was a bit tired. But she hasn't gone to sleep yet. She's reading.  

Ellie: 0K. I'll go and say goodnight to her. Night, Dad.

Dad: Goodnight, Ellie.

Observații:

  • Present Perfect exprimă o acțiune începută în trecut și încă neîncheiată în prezent. Ca indici de timp, ne ajută expresii sau cuvinte precum: „for”, „since”, „this week/month/year”, „never”, „ever”.
  • Past Tense exprimă o acțiune îcomplet finalizată în trecut. Folosim cuvinte sau expresii precum „last week/month/year”, „ago”, „yesterday” ca indici de timp.
