It revolves around the Sun.
Other planets revolving around the Sun are: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. 
The Sun and the nine planets form the Solar System.
The name of our Galaxy is the Milky Way.
