An ideal friend is
the person who is always there for you. When you are happy, your friend
is happy for you. When you are sad, you are sure that there is always a
shoulder to lay your troubles on.
Friendship means to care for your friend almost as much as you care for yourself.

are never selfish, they are reliable people. When you find out that a
person who you considered to be your friend is a liar and a traitor, be
sure that that person never was one of your friends, but one of your
enemies.
A friend is always candid, whether you like or not his/her
opinion about you. He/she will always tell you what's on his/her mind.
