Dear John,
We finally arrived in Bucharest yesterday morning. Our teacher helped us with the check-in at the hotel.
After I entered my room, I unpacked and took a quick shower. Our teacher took us to the National Museum of Art. We made a tour and we had the opportunity to see a lot of beautiful paintings.
After the visit to the museum, our teacher invited us to a nice restaurant to have lunch. We had pizza. It wasn't too expensive, so I didn't spend too much money from the amount my Mom gave me.
After lunch, we went to the Zoo. It is somewhere near the town, in a beautiful area. We enjoyed looking at the monkeys, the lions, the elephants... There were a lot of animals, and it was nice too see them in real, not only in pictures or in movies.
In the evening I felt so tired that I couldn't wait to go to bed.
This morning we had an early start. After breakfast, our teacher organized a bus tour to see the town. So, I saw the People's House - it's a huge building (and now I believe that's the second largest buildings in the world!), the river Dambovita, the National Theater, the Intercontinental hotel... and I lot of buildings.
After the tour, we had some free time, so I decided to write to you.
We will be in Bucharest for 5 days and I'll write to you after we visit other interesting places.
I look forward to showing you all the photos I took.
Regards,
A.
