in today´s Denmark,Norway,and Sweden there lived a people called the Norsemen.they were farmers,fishermen and traders.Norsemen who sailed the seas,maiking long voyages to land warriors on unkind shores.their ships were so important to them that when a viking leader deied,he was buried in his ship together with his possessions such as gold,jewelsand drinking vessels,even with his hounds and horses.the vikings enjoyed fighting and adventure.at first they robbed and plundered other lands,later they settled in many parts of europe,including iceland.in the 8th century they began raiding the british isles.some vikings settled in france and becameknown as normans.....

3. i think their success wass assured by their spirit of team and because they were organised so well. also, they were strong and skillful, and they made good sailors
