Informal Letters
1. The address should be written in the right
hand corner.
It has to contain
- first name,
- surname,
- street number
- name of the street,
- town/city/village,
- county,
- country,
- zip code
Other elements of an informal letter:
2. The date should be written under the address
3. The letter starts with salutation (Dear ....., ). It is written on the left hand side of the letter.
4. The content:
- introduction (first paragraph)
- body of the text
- conclusion
5. Ending (Best wishes/ Yours forever/ Love you/ Looking forward to seeing you soon/ etc)
6. Name/signature
